For instance, an outcome goal might be to win the 400-meter race at next Saturday’s meet. However, it’s also important to recognize that useful outcome goals can be more specific and focused. For example, you might set a goal to achieve five steals per game in basketball or to take five good shots on goal in soccer. Just like performance goals, outcome goals should also include a time frame. It’s essential for these goals to specify the particular meet or match when you aim to achieve them. This will help create a clear target for you to work towards.
